Takatoshi Shibayama

Takatoshi Shibayama is the Head of APAC of Ledger. He provides digital assets security for the Web3 industry and institutional investors. Prior to this, he was an analyst and investor of distressed corporate situations for 17 years, starting his career with investment banks such as JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, later joining a US hedge fund Davidson Kempner Capital Management, and co-founding 3D Investment Partners in Singapore. He was also the Head of Revenue APAC for Copper, a digital asset collateral management and custodial service firm.

Lisa JY Tan

Lisa is the founder and managing director at Economics Design, a research focused consultancy for digital ecosystems.

In the research space, she contributes to research work in various fields like math, governance policy and economics, while having the practitioner exposure through designing token economic models for projects.

She was one of the first few to research and educate on token economics, starting in 2018 in London. Since then, she has a weekly podcast on the economics of token ecosystems, online courses, and has educated regulators, government officials, students and organisations in London, Singapore, Seoul, Geneva and Columbia University.

Nic Young

Nic co-founded Oh in early 2022 with Felix. Together, they also co-founded a successful digital marketing and PR agency, which generated six-figure annual profits. Prior to the success of his own agency, he worked at a top PR agency consulting some of the world’s biggest brands including Huawei and Burger King. Nic leads the vision and general direction of the business.

Nikhil Joshi

Nikhil Joshi is the COO of EMURGO with a remit to increase its commercial adoption through build and investment. He oversees the build side of EMURGO’s Fintech, Media and Education products, as well as its incubation arm. 


Prior to EMURGO, Nikhil was the COO of a Singaporean startup focused on solving trade and supply chain woes using Hyperledger Fabric and Corda. He successfully fundraised $7m for a Series A round during Covid. Before that, Nikhil spent 15 years with Barclays in London and Singapore, improving capital efficiency for New York and London structured credit desks, as well as lobbying global regulators on Basel I-IV. Latterly, he was involved in strategic and tactical initiatives using revenue, cost, funding, capital and liquidity levers to improve Return on Equity for Barclays' Asian business. He also worked extensively with Senior Relationship Management and IBD parts of the business on client strategy and cross-selling.

Samar Sen

Samar heads up the Talos business in APAC, delivering institutional-grade digital asset trading systems to customers on the buy-side and sell-side. Over his 20-year career, Sen has worked in a variety of product, strategy, and technology leadership roles at capital markets firms across the industry. Prior to joining Talos, he served as the Global Head of Digital Products for Securities Services at Deutsche Bank, where he co-led the bank’s digital asset strategy and product delivery. In addition, he has held senior Asia-based roles at BNP Paribas, Barclays, and TradeHero after starting his career at Goldman Sachs in New York. Sen holds a degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University and an MBA from INSEAD.
