Alvin Kan of Bitget Wallet and Renna Ba of Morph join the show during TOKEN2049 week to talk through the boom in tokenised stocks. Their argument is that tokenised equities have grown from synthetic experiments into one-to-one backed claims on real shares. In their view, the real edge over a brokerage account is that users can move these tokens and put them to work.

Alvin explains what changed in the past few years. Stablecoins became a trusted on-chain dollar, chains got cheap and fast enough for retail trading, and regulators shifted from blocking tokenisation to building alongside the industry. He also shares what Bitget Wallet users actually trade, which turns out to look a lot like a regular brokerage top ten, with more leveraged ETFs.

The conversation covers voting rights and dividends, and why the bigger question is whether a token counts as a share at all. Renna explains why any platform that offers voting rights will force the rest to follow.

Both guests take on stonks, the memecoins paired against tokenised stocks. Renna walks through how the trades work and why liquidity providers carry the most risk. Alvin argues the craze is a sign that attention is returning to real-world assets.

The episode closes on ecosystems and portability. The guests discuss whether vertically integrated groups like Bitget will dominate, what Morph is building for stablecoin-paid workers, and why Alvin thinks moving a stock should be as easy as sending a token.
